PARLEY CALLED TO MAP POLICY IN SMOKE FIGHT

Safety Board © to Seek Aid Of Larger Fuel Users At Session Today.

The City’s future policy in the enforcement of the smoke abatement ordinance was to be discussed at a conference this afternoon between the Safety Board and rep-

resentatives of business firms. Utilities, apartment house owners, building managers and the Indianapolis Smoke Abatement

League are to be represented at the|

session. The meeting was called to seek co-operation of the larger users of fuel in the smoke abatement program. .iCo-operation Urged

The City ordinance is adequate to take care of any smoke nuisance, LeRoy J. Keach, Safety Board chairman, said, but co-operation and public opinion is needed to enforce it adequately. “The railroads which formerly were flagrant violators of the smoke abatement ordinance have improved their situation to a great degree,” Mr. Keach said. “If other groups would co-operate in this smoke problem as the railroads have, there would be a remarkable improvement by next fall. When the large offenders start to co-operate, individual home owners will follow.”

Local Woman, Mother Feels Best 1 in Ten Years

«Almost a Miracle What| Natex Did for Me,” Joyfully Exclaims Well-Known Goodlett Street Resident.

“Really I don’t know how to go about thanking Natex enough for all the wonders it worked for me,” declared Mrs. Ruth Burchett, 422 Goodlett St., this city, in a recent statement given to the Natex representative at Haag'’s Claypool Hotel Drug Store, Illinois and Washington Sts. “While it’s a joy .to bring up and raise 14 children, there’s no denying that there is quite a Physical strain involved. However, I didn’t begin to feel the effects of it until about 10 or 11 years ago, when I first became so badly constipated. After that, though, it was just one thing after another. My meals failed to digest properly and began indigestion, bloating gas, nausea, shortness of breath and acid-risings. I grew dead-tired, weary and wornouf, yet my nerves reached such a- ragged edge and I was called up from bed so frequently that it was almost impossible to sleep at night. Headaches often bothered me, too, and I was subject to such dizzy spells that I often had to hang on to something to keep from falling. Headaches and aches in my back, arms, legs and muscles just about completed the misery that took all the joy out of living. “Though I tried every medicine recommended to me, it wasn’t until I took Natex for 30 days that I got real, honest-to-goodness relief. “In less than a month after Natex| i had gotten my bowels moving so

nicely, however, I was eating anything I pleased without the old suffering, I was sleeping like a log, not bothered by nervousness or nightrising, my strength and energy had returned full-force, the headaches and dizzy spells had seemed to leave me, and there wasn’t even a trace of the old aching misery in either my back, arms, legs or muscles. Do you wonder now why I say it was almost a miracle that Natex worked for me.” A special Natex representative is at Haag’s Claypool Hotel Drug Store, Illinois and Washington Sts., daily explaining the merits of Natex and how it can help you. See him soon. Natex is also being especially featured by all 26 Haag’s Neighborhood Stores.
