MARION, Feb. 23 (U. P.).—Mrs. Rilla Harrell, 47-year-old Lagro ‘housewife, was expected to testify today or tomorrow in defense of a charge that she slew Paul Bartholomew, one-armed 44-year-old Lagro High School principal and athletic coach. She is on trial before a jury of ‘10 men and two women in Grant County Circuit Court, where the case was brougint from Wabash on a change of venue. The defendant heard herself described by witnesses for the State as “a jealous woman” and heard Bartholomew pictured by the defense as “a drinking man.” Mrs. Harrell is accused of shooting him

The third church burglary this week was investigated by police today. Ralph Brown, custodian’ of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 501 E. New York St., told police he found small piles of paper ashes about the church. The office had been ransacked but nothing of value| had been taken, he said. The Rev. Errol T.
