Tribune editor and publisher, to the university journalism advisory council. Mr. Montgomery attended Butler and was business manager of the Butler Collegian.

Cubmaster to Speak—A, L. TWO SENTENCED FOR BURGLARY AT CUTLER

: DELPHI, Feb. 15. Feb, 15—Leslie Wil liams, 53, and George Gilbert, 52; both of Frankfort, were sentenced to serve State Prison terms for burglarizing the Briggs Garage at Cutler last week when they éntered pleas of guilty in Carroll Circuit Court yesterday. Gilbert, pleading guilty to grand larceny, was ordered to : the prison. for a 1-to-10-year period, Williams was charged with burglary and received a sentence of 3 to 10 years.

FEDERAL JURY AGAIN QUESTIONS MANTON

*NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (U. P)— Martin T. Manton, resigned judge of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, appears again today before a Federal Grand Jury investi gating his business affairs while a member of the judiciary. Details of Mr. Manton’s question=ing were kept secret and his attorney, Martin Conboy, former U. S. Attorney for the Southern .District of New York, refused to discuss the case. Mr. Manton appeared alone before the jury under the ruling that he can not be accompanied by counsel.

CLAIMS LAWS AID BANDITS Laws prohibiting the carrying of defense weapons aid holdup men and bandits, Howard M. Meyer, Indianapolis attorney, declared at the Indianapolis Hunting and’ Fishing Club meeting at Hotel Washington last night.
