She came here and was awarded her share of the estate—$500 —by Middlesex Probate Court. Mrs. Parrish left home 22 years ago because of a family

disagreement.

CROWE GETS PLACE ON ROADS GROUP

Times Special ’ WASHINGTON, Feb. 9.—Rep. Eugene B. Crowe (D. Ind.) is thanking the Republicans today for a belated assignment to the House Committee on Roads. For.it was. the increase in G. O. P. A fourth term Congressman, Mr. Crowe was originally on the Roads Committee but gave up his seat so that another Democrat might be assigned to it during those sessions when the Democrats had nearly all the seats in the House. In addition to Roads, Rep. Crowe's committee assignments include Merchant Marine and Fisheries, Public Buildings and Grounds, and Territories.
