The aggregate market value of listed issues, as of Jan. 31, compared with $39,242,676,837 a year earlier and with the 1938 high of $47,001,767,212 on Nov. 1. The recovery high was $62,617,741,160 on March 1, 1937. Average price per share on Jan. 31, 1939, was $31.50 compared with an average price of $33.3¢ on Dec.
