- NEW YORK, Jan. 20 (U. P)— Firmness. in farm equipments and utilities featured an otherwise lower stock market today. ‘Failure of the market to follow through on yesterday’s rise brought in some selling and the main list softened after early steadiness. _Some further caution was induced by the Schacht retirement although market men said it was only a minor factor. American Telephone, which made a:new high at 157%, up 1%, lost part of its gain. Steel issues, mo‘tors. and aviations sagged to net
