Leaders of Girl | Scouts to Hear Talk on Service
‘Mrs. Austin Vi Clifford of the vel unteer committee of the ‘Council of Social Agencies will speak Tuesday evening to leaders of the Girl Scouts at the ¥ W. C. A. Mrs. Clifford’s subject “will be “Service Possibilities for Scouts of All Ages.” Following her talk, Mrs. Clifford will hold an informal discussion period with Miss Dorothy Hande and the senior Scouts. Other features planned for the evening’s program include instructian by Miss Betty Sullivan in folk dancing, a talk for Brownie leaders by Mrs. Norman Beatty and a lecture on “Troop Dramatics” by Miss Patricia Counahan. Miss Sullivan, a graduate of Nor= mal College of American Gymnas=tics, is working with leaders to aid them . in teaching folk dancing to their Scouts. She was present also at the last leaders’ meeting. Mrs. Beatty's subject will be “Telling Stories to Little Folks.” Miss Hande will be in charge of a meeting Friday, Jan. 13, of all senior Scouts who are interested in the Scout Chorus. The meeting will be at the Little House. The group will rehearse songs to be used for different Scout entertainments during the year. oo :
