A 43-year-old man who pleaded guilty to strong-arming an aged obbler was fined $570 and sentenced to 360 days on the State Farm by Judge Charles J. Karabell in Municipal Court today. He hacl been charged with assault and battery and petit larceny. The defendant, William Hardison, 43, confessed. in court that he entered the establishment of Jake 'Flumbaum, 66, of 213 Indiana Ave., - {grabbed Mr. Flufmmbaum by the neck and forced him to tell where his money was kept. Ten dollars was taken in the robbery. * After Hardison asked the court's leniency Judge’Karabell said: “I'm not lenient with robbers.”
