Double Rite . For Brother ~~ And Sister
Rev. Nordsieck to Aid in Son’s and Daughter’s Ceremonies.
The Rev. William Nordsieck will officiate at a double wedding ceremony at 4:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in which his daughter Elfriede will become the bride of Gilbert Korff and his son Herbert will marry Miss Lorita Kasting. The service will be read at the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church before an altar banked with balms and greenery and lighted by white tapers. Miss Kasting is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Easting and Mr. Korff is the son of Mr, anel Mrs. Fred L. Korff. Mrs. David K. Middleten, Oklahoma City, sister of Mr. Korff, will play a program of bridal music on the organ. preceding the ceremony. Miss Vera Sudbrock will sing “No Perfect. Love” and “Song of Ruth” and Mrs. Walter Droege, Seymour, will play several violin selections.
Miss Kasting to Enter First
Miss Kasting will enter first with her father, followed by members of her bridal party. She has chosen a gown of white satin fashioned on simple lines with a short train and Peter Pan collar. The sleeves are long and fitted and her fingertiplength veil will fall from a 9s of orange blossoms, She will carry an arm bouquet of white roses. Her sisters, Miss Alberta and Miss Doris Kasting, will be her attendants. Miss Alberta, the maid of honor, will wear a gown of wine faille taffeta made period style with fitted bodice, full skirt, short puff sleeves and a square neckline. Miss Doris will wear gs similar gown of rose taffeta. Both attendants will carry colonial bouquets of Talisman roses with matching roses in their hair + and they will wear - old-fashioned lockets. Miss Nordsieck to Follow
Miss Nordsieck and her hridal party will follow. Miss Nordsieck: has chosen a white satin gown fashioned on princess lines with a short train, long fitted sleeves with a slight puff at the shoulder, a; shirred bodice and flowing skirt. Her fingertip-length veil will fall from a eap of net with a tiara of orange blossoms and she will carry white roses. Miss Ruth Tebbe will be maid of | honor and Miss Doris Mauntler will be bridesmaid. Their gowns will be similar to the other attendants in wine and rose faille taffeta ‘and they will carry colonial beuquets. Elmer Becker, Evansville, will be best man and Ernest Schaeffer and Hal Walden will usher. Miss Nordsieck will be given in marriage by her father.
Following the ceremony, dinner will be served at-the chureh hall ta relatives and guests at the wedding. About 50 out-of-town guests are expected to attend. Miss Kasting and Mr. Nordsiecck will be at home at Ithaca, N. Y., and Miss Nordsieck and Mr, Korff plan to live in Indianapolis after Jan. 1.
Glory Society Plans Several Yule Parties
Several members of the Qld Glory Society, Children of the American Revolution, are planning parties for the dinner at the Propylacum Friday night, preceding the organization’s Christmas dance at the D. A. R. Chapter House. Patrons and patronesses for the dinner will include Messrs. and Mesdames Claus H. Best, William F, Kegley and Luther J. Shirley. Sponsors at ‘the dance will be Mrs. George C. Chester, Valparaiso, state president of the C. A. R.; Mrs. John Dawning Johnson, henerary state director; Messrs. and Mesdames George Caleb Wright, Jeseph P. Merriman, Maxwell Coppock, G. B. Taylor, William Henry Harrison, Walter C. Holmes, Joseph G. Curry, Russell 8. Bosart, P. P. Huston, Harry Wood and Mr. Johnsen. y Miss Barbara Winslow is to have in her party Miss Mary Lou Kirk, Tom Hall and Eugene Stuart. Miss Peggy Winslow will be hostess to Miss Dorothy Jacobs, Joe Cox and Paul Wehr. Fred I. Miss Anne Holmes will be hostess for a party of six guests. University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Mr. Nordsieck is a graduate student at Cornell University and will receive his Ph. D. degree in June. Miss Nordsieck attended Butler University and Myr. Korff is a graduate of Purdue.
J ackson-Cordray Wedding Pomorrow
The marriage of Miss Margaret Cordray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cordray, 3502 W. Michigan St., and Donald Jackson, son of Mrs. Edna Adanis, North Salem, will be at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow at the North Salem Methodist Church. The Rev Stanley Hall will officiate at the single-ring ceremony before an altar banked with flowers. The bride will be given in marriage by her brotaer Dale. She has chosen a street-length gown of teal biue crepe with whieh she will wear wine accessories and a gardenia corsage. Miss Dorothy Randant will be bridesmaid and Eugene Jackson will be best man.
