Club Lists
a I. A. C, Columbia and Propylaeum Set Holiday Events.
Family Thanksgiving dinners and dances for the younger set are highlights of town club holiday calendars
for today and tomorrow. Both The Indianapolis Athletic Club and the Columbia Club are planning to serve dinners with dancing for a short time in the evening. The dinner at the I. A. C. will be served from noon until 9 p. m, with dancing to Louie Lowe’s Orchestra from 6:30 to 8:30 p. m. The same serving and dancing hours will be observed at the Columbia Club. Whole turkeys are to be carved at tables for eight or more. The junior sons and daughters of members will hold their formal at the Columbia Club tomorrow night. Miss Betty Lou Knowles and” Wal-

son, James Hill and Paul Havens. Seasonal decorations will be used at the Indac Juniors’ dance tomor=row night in the fourth floor balroom. Dancing will be from 9 to midnight. Louie Lowe and his band will play. Miss Josephine Welch, entertainment chairman, heads the committee. She is to be assisted by Miss Lillian Hirschfelder, Miss Mary Ellen Kennedy, Jack Spencer, Jack Reis and John Moynahan. Several family groups are to dine at - the Propylaeum today. The monthly contract dinner will be tomorrow night.
Joseph Scollard And Ruth Brogan ~ Married Today
In a ceremony at 9 o'clock this morning~at St. John’s Catholic Church, Miss Ruth Brogan became the bride of Joseph M. Scollard. She is the daughter of Mrs. Ralph Jester and Mr. Scollard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Scollard. The Rev. Clement Bosler officiated before an altar banked with ferns, palms and chrysanthemums. mony. The bride entered with her uncle, Richard Brogan, in a gown of white satin fashioned on simple lines with a seed pearl trim at the neckline. The full skirt of ‘he gown fell into a slight train anc /her veil was held in place by a seed pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of bride's roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Catherine Boyle, maid of honor, wore a gown of royal-blue velvet and carried an arm bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. Miss Julia Scollard, sister of the bridegroom, wae bridesmaid. Her gown was of American Beauty velvet and she carried deep pink chrysanthemums. Both attendants wore doll hats of matching velvet. = _ John Scollard, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Nicholas and Thomas Scollard, brothers of the bridegroom. Mrs. Jester: wore plum-colored crepe with a corsage of gardenias and Mrs. Scollard wore brown with a gardenia corsage. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at Bluff Crest. A reception will be held this evening at the home of Mrs. Albert Pike, sister of the bride. The couple wil leave on a southern trip and will be at home after Dec. 4 in

Miss Oscal Elizabeth Patrick and John Bonowski exchanged marriage vows at 8 o'clock this morning at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Miss Patrick is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Patrick and the bride= groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Louis Bonowski. The Rev. Fr. Ambrose Sullivan read the single ring service. The bride wore a street-length gown of teal blue crepe with long sleeves and square neck ornamented by two gold clips, and ‘a shoulder corsage of chrysanthemuhs and sweet peas.
