The new Dodge is longer in wheelbase and wider in body, two circumstances which have been turned to advantage in the interiors —in wider seats, increased leg and elbow space and in greater visibility. In designing the chassis of the new Dodge Luxury Liner engineers have provided a new frame with six-inch side members. The hood section expresses beauty as well as aerodynamic advantages resulting from extensive wind tunnel studies. At the lower forward end, or catwalk, spaced transverse ventilating slots are delineated by polished chromium strips. If those conversations are good, if they tell to the customer the brief story of what the product is and what it means to the buyer, then interest will be aroused for a demonstration. It is by actually driving a new car that the customer learns of its value. “A reduction in price is always appreciated by the public and attracts attention to a product. The beauty of design in the new cars will extend that attention. Suck mechanical improvements as the new vacuum gear-shift with steering column control, optional at small extra cost, the new scientifically-co-ordinated Knee-Action ride, new aero-stream styling, observation-car visibility, ad countless other refinements increasing safety, comfort and convenience, will intensify the customer’s interest for a driving demonstration.”
