DADS AT ANNUAL FALL PROGRAM

Times Special GREENCASTLE, Nov. 1 —Several hundred fathers of DePauw students will gather on the campus tomorrow for the annual Dads’ Day program. Topping the program is a football game between Wabash and DePauw. A banquet will be held in the evening, when a representative father of men students and a representative father of coeds, yet to be chosen, will speak. Fraternities, sororities and halls of residence will have banquets and other programs for visitors. Meanwhile Duzer Du, dramatic honorary at DePauw, will open its 25th season on the campus tonight with a presentation of George Bernard Shaw's play, “Arms and the Man.” William Merness of Lima, O., and

will take leads in the play. Others in the cast include: Betty Hodge of Gary, William Belshaw of Hammond, Elbert Bowen of Ft. Wayne, Richard Corson of Elgin, Ill, and Mary Margaret Harrington of Anderson. The play will be repeated tomorrow night as the Dads’ Day dramatic production. 2

DRAMA MEETING PLANNED AT IU.

Times Special BLOOMINGTON, Nov. 11.— The sixth annual state drama conference and demonstration will be held next Friday and Saturday at Indiana University. The conference will be opened by pupils of Mrs. Kate Rutherford, University School. “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” will be presented by the Tom Thumb Players of Vincennes Junior High School.

include a “Hoosier Schoolmaster” broadcast at WIRE, Indianapolis, an original radio program and analysis by Robert Allen, in charge of I. U. radio broadcasts, a play by the Proscenium Players of Bloomington High School and a debate between I. U. and University of Michigan.

Play to Be Given

A play, “Stage Door,” directed by Prof. Lee R. Norvelle, will be given in the evening at the University Theater. A discussion of children’s theaters by Mrs. Lillian Masters of the Community Theater of Terre Haute, and a presentation by the Sycamore Players of Indiana State Teachers College, directed by Prof. Robert Masters, will feature Saturday’s program.

Eight seniors of the University school of business administration have been elected members of Beta Gamma Sigma, honorary scholastic fraternity. They are Gene A. Smith and Robert Waters of Indianapolis; William Mayse, Goshen; Robert Schallopl, Mishawaka; Lloyd Fitzpatrick, Washington; William J. Pawelec, Hammond; Dan Bretz, Huntingburg, and Barbara Gray, Lebanon. Edward L. Hutton of Bedford won the fraternity’s award for scholastic ‘excellence. Alfred Green of Indianapolis was runnerup.
