Indiana's problem guardianship |of the Thomas Hart Benton murals, {which have graced the storage room of the Manufacturer's Building at the Fair Grounds since 1934, ended today when Governor Townsend officially Indiana University. The paintings will hang in the university's proposed auditorium, to be constructed soon as a part of the State's building program. Governor Townsend told Herman B. Wells, university president, he could have the paintings yesterday. The murals were brought back to the Chicago World Fair and were housed in the Man{ufacturer’s Building for lack of any |other available space.
