Fronek, 52, returned here by police in the hope that he might show them the exact location of the physician’s office. Mr. Fronek said he had been cold and had needed a pair of shoes. “I walked into a doctor’s office, thinking he might help me. “The doctor said he would give me some shoes, but would feed me first. He brought out some meat, potatoes and coffee. I began to eat, and pretty soon I was drowsy and sick. “I managed to run for the door. The doctor yelled, but I didn’t stop. I ran until I found a boxcar and climbed into it. I didn’t wake up until three days later. Then I went back to look for the doctor, but his offices were empty.”
