It’s all straight lines and simplicity—that’s why this clever new design, Pattern 8307, is so very flattering to large figures. The only fullness is at the sides of the bodice, in front, to keep it from looking tight over the bust.
The shoulders are beautifully smooth. The square neckline is cut to a point in the front, to make it more becoming. That suggestion of a V makes a lot of difference. Pattern 8307 is not too strictly tailored for informal afternoon wear, but it's ideal for runabout and home.’ Sew it now in small-figured silk print or flat crepe. For the fall, in sheer wool. Pattern 8307 is designed for sizes 36, 38, 40, 44, 46, 48, 50 and 52. Size 38 requires 4%; yards of 39-inch material with short sleeves; 5 yards for long. Contrasting vestee requires 2 yard 18 inches wide.
