PHIL M, WATSON RITES ARE SET FOR TOMORROW

Mrs. Nannie McLean Will Be Buried at Crown Hill; Ken Holmes Dead.

Phil M. Watson, the Indiana Bell Telephone Co. secretary and treasurer, who died yesterday at his summer home near Traders Point, is to be buried at- Crown Hill following funeral services at 4:30 p. m. tomorrow at the town residence, 1442 N. Delaware St. Burial is to be private. Mr. Watson, who was 63 and a member of a pioneer Indianapolis family, was born here and spent his entire life in this city. His. town entire life in this city. He had been engaged in telephone work more than 34 years. Most of his service was in the commercial department of the Indiana Bell. Mr. Watson was a member of the Columbia Club, the University Club, the Woodstock Country Ciub and the Telephone Pioneers. Survivors are his wife, Genevieve; his mother, Mrs. Henry S. Fraser; a daughter, Mrs. Elias C. Atkins; a son, John B., an employee of the “Indiana Bell; a grandson and a granddaughter, all of Indianapolis.

- MRS. NANNIE GLOVER M’LEAN, Indianapolis resident 65 years and a member of a pioneer Indiana family, who died Monday at her home, 3512 Kenwood Ave, is _ to be buried at Crown Hill follow-

ing services at the home at 3:30 p. m. today. She was 81. Born at: Orleans, Mrs. McLean was the daughter of Maj. John B. Glover, at one time consul at LeHavre, France. Her grandfather,

in 1812, built the mill in what is _ now Spring Mill State Park. Prof. James G. May, her maternal grandfather, was one of Indiana’s pioneer "educators. Mrs. McLean was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors are three daughters, Miss Edna G. Nowland, a teacher at Tech; Mrs. Emil B. Mills and Mrs. W. R. Hatton, both of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. W. B. Holton of New York.

KEN HOLMES, former Indianapolis resident who died yesterday at his home at Seymour, is to be buried following funeral services at the Voss Mortuary, Seymour, at 2 p. m. tomorrow. He was 70. Mr. Holmes, a former employee of the Taggart Baking Co., was manager of the Superior Bakery at Seymour. Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Flora Davis Holmes; two sons, Leo M. Holmes of Indianapolis and Raymond D. Holmes of Cincinnati; a brother, Link Holmes of Shelbyville, and a sister, Mrs, Delia Ernst of Medora.

SAMUEL MILT HARSHBARGER,Indianapolis resident 16 years, who died Monday at the home of his

daughter, Mrs. Nona Kepler, 333 N. Belle Vieu Place, will be buried at Ladoga following services at the daughter’s home at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow. He was 79. Mr. Harshbarger, born at New Ross, was employed as a millwright before his retirement several years ago. Survivors, besides the daughter, are a sister, Mrs. Nan Jeffries, and a brother, Ol Harshbarger, both of Lebanon, and six grandchildren.

MRS. B. N.'GOSNEY, Indianapolis resident most of her life, who died Monday at her home at Miami, ¥Fla., is to be buried there following funeral services at Miami today. She was 66. Mrs. Gosney, born at Indianapolis, was a member of the College Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband, Lester Gosney, formerly operated a coffee business here. Mr. and Mrs. Gosney moved to Miami several years ago. . Survivors, besides ‘the husband, are a daughfer, Mrs. Merle Sargent of Miami; a sister, Mrs. I. S. Pierce of Indianapolis; a brother, Fred Pressell of Reno, Nev., and a grand- . daughter.

MRS. SARAH A. HINDS, a resident of Indianapolis for 35 years, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Margaret H. Foster, 3307 Kenwood Ave.gtoday. She was 84. Mrs. Hifids, daughter of James . and Frances Shafer, pioneers who - settled in Madison County, was the widow of James J. Hinds. She is
