Daniel J. Doherty, American| Legion national commander, is to address Indiana Legionnaires Aug. ‘23 at their state convention here, Russell R. Rhodes, Peru, department commander, announced today. The convention will be held Aug, 21, 22 and 23. Former Hoosier World War heroes and other distinguished guests are to appear on the program during the state meeting, Commander Rhodes said. Plans for drum and bugle corps contests and band competitions, to close with finals at Perry Stadium
