74 Precincts to Be Counted; Circuit Court to Rule On 3000 Ballots.

In the recount of 262 precincts, Al Feeney, declared loser of the Democratic Sheriff race by the canvassing board, today was leading Charley Lutz, certified as the winner by 537 votes. Totals given by the board for the same 262 precincts following the primary gave Mr. Lutz a lead of 1843 Mr. Feeney said today: “Disclosure of Irtepuiaritios in two precincts yesterday, and discrepancies in the tabulat oy found in al i parts of the County convince me that there was a county-wide organized plan of vote st tealing operated from a central point.” Net gains made by M the 262 precincts now giving him an edge of 164 votes the 2255 plurality n Mr. Lut the canv board { the entire 336 precincts If Mr. Feeney votes in the reco cincts tified as the missioners in their 1? The recount total for Mr. Feeney for the 262 precincts is 18,270 compared with his canvassing board total of 17.958. Mr. Lutz now has a recount total of 17.733 compared with the original total of 19,801. A discrepancy of 82 votes in two North Side precincts was found by recount commissioners yesterday. Mr. Feenev gained 32 votes in Pre9, Ward 20, in his home preand he picked 57 more in Precinct 9 ward 21, in the vicinity of 52d St. and College Ave. Mr. Feenev's gain for the entire day was 107 votes. Commissioners said they will com- | plete the recount by next Friday

WASHINGTON, July —The Census Bureau special preliminary of 3000 farms in 40 states disclosed that one farmer in three has an income from nonfarm sources The study indicated that there are about two million farmers who perform work off their farms for! pay or income, The bureau found the outside income average of these farmers was equal to about three-fourths of the average income from farms.
