Indiana Spends Construction During 1938 Fiscal Year
‘Pay as We Go’ Ig Plan, T. A. Dicus, Highway Chairman, States.
The State has spent $14,242,10781 of own funds and $5.135,728.90 in Federal grants for road construction since July 1, 1937, T. A. Dicus, Highway Commission chairman, announced today With less than two weeks remaining in this fiscal year, the present total of $19.377.836.71 is £5,610,895.54 less than the amount spent during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1937. The State funds come only from automobile license fees and gasoline tax receipts, and spending is on a “pay as we go” plan, Mr, Dicus said.
