Nelson of Brookston was killed when his car crashed into one driven by Earl Bryan, 38. Nelson's wife, Lina, 64, and Miss Lillian Workman, who was riding with Bryan, were injured. Miss Workman suffered a fractured skull.
Speed Limit Signs To Go Up in Towns
Auto speed limit signs will be erected by the State Highway Commission on State highways through
all cities and towns, with the exception of Indianapolis, it was an-| nounced today by M. R. Keefe, chief | engineer. Signs also will be erected at dan- |
ger zones in rural and suburban areas, he said. Mr. Keefe said the speed limit in business districts is to be placed at 20 miles an hour and through residential districts at 30 miles. He aded, however, that there will be a few exceptions. Unauthorized directional signs erected by businessmen to attract motorists to business districts will be removed if they are within 200 feet of the highway, the engineer reported.
