CONSIDER WOMEN FOR BRITISH ARMY
LONDON. May 68 (U. P) Gen. Sir John Brown, director general of the British Territorial Army, met with prominent women at the war office today to consider plans for formation of women's organizations within the Army. Minister of War Leslie Hore-Be-lisha announced that he had drafted a plan whereby women would be able to enlist in the territorial army to perform minor duties behind the lines and relieve men for more active tasks.
