quires constant governmental regulation. Such intense regulation, he added, is necessary when there is not enough to go around. For Government must then have all sorts of powers to say how it shall be divided. Governor La Follette would root out evils rather than continue to patch the system, This he believes can be done through a series of legislative acts and within the framework of the capitalistic sys-

is to get capital out into productive enterprise in order to create “new frontiers” which will give people jobs. The New Deal also has realized this problem, but today finds itself impeded. : How Governor La Follette would meet the problem he will say tonight. It is a big order, for a young man. An interested observer will be Adolph A. Berle, Assistant Secretary of State, who will be eyes-and ears for President Roosevelt and also

The latter expressed sympathy with the La Follette objectives in a longdistance telephone conversation with the Governor during a stop at St. Louis on his western tour, in which he has been campaigning for a new political alignment.

In another address at the morning session, Miss Sara C. Ewing, representing the Indiana Federation of Public School Teachers, urged election: of officials who will increase school budgets. : The state P.-T. Delegates to the Indiana Parents and Teachers Congress will return to their homes determined to obtain vice law enforcement by local officers, Mrs. James L. Murray, P.-T. A’ legislation department head, declared today. In closing session today, the Con-

gress adopted a resolution joining jt with other organizations in a state-wide drive to stamp out gambling and other vice. The resolution called on State officials to “take steps to enforce the antigambling law in the communities in which enforcement officers have

be turned over to the State organization for use in broadening child welfare activities. Governor Townsend . told the Congress at a banquet last night that it had an opportunity to go to the polls and replace any local officers who have not discharged their duties.

Pledges State Aid

He pledged State aid in any community where local officers have failed to enforce antivice laws. It was the same answer he had given the Indianapolis Methodist Minjsters’ Association, which recently charged ‘open lawlessness.” In his address last night, Governor Townsend said: “I am glad to see the active interest this organization is taking in suppressing gambling and other vice. If at any time your various committees are unable to cope with gambling and vice through your local law enforcement agencies, you may feel free to ask for the assistance of the Indiana State Police. “We do not believe local officials want us to take over this enforcement. We have responded to any call from local officials.” Commenting on his address, Mrs. Murray said: “We feel that Governor Townsend jntends to co-operate in enforcement of the State’s antigambling laws.”

The Governor pointed out that there are four times as many teachers as State policemen and that the problem of local law enforcement is complicated by “economic conditions.”

resolutions and bylaw revisions. They included measures retaining the retiring president on the executive committee as one of three mem-bers-at-large; questioning the State's right to fix maximum school expenditures, and commending U. S. District Attorney Val Nolan's efforts to suppress salacious literature. Dr. William McKinley Robinson, Western State Teachers College, Kalamazoo, Mich., last night cited the decentralization of urban population and a new appreciation of things rural as evidence of a trend that vitally may affect rural America.

“Happiest Woman in the Whole | City,” Declares Local Woman ;

Severe 15-Year Suffering Relieved—Groff Avenue Resi"dent Praises Natex for Her Many Astounding Benefits.

No matter where you go in Indianapolis or the surrounding vicinity, you can almost always find someone who testifies to the wonderful relief Natex has brought them after years of suffering—and when nothing else that they tried had been able to help them. This point was brought out very strongly in a statement given by Mrs. Mary Traylor, wife of a Street Car Shops employee living at 1108 Groff Ave. to the Nafex representative who is’ daily meeting local people at Haag’s Claypool Hotel Drug Store, Illinois & Washington Sts. Mrs. Traylor:says: «1 suffered utter misery for about 15 years, and though I spent a for-

tune on many different treatments

and medicines, relief just didn’t seem meant for me. Everything seemed to start with constipation, because I was troubled in this way first of all. Anyway, I felt just terrible all the time and was nervous and cross with my family. I could hardly move because of the aching misery in my arms, legs and muscles. Everything I ate gave me indigestion and filled me so with gas that my heart would flutter and pound and I'd become alarmingly short of breath. I never seemed able to sleep well, and was constantly bothered with a wornout, sluggish feeling, and frequent headaches also added to my misery. “My husband, however, had seen where Natex had helped so many hundreds of folks in this section

that he insisted that I try it too.

First off it got my bowels moving like a charm. ‘Now, though I've taken in only 30 days, I'm eating anything I like and am never bothered in any way afterwards; my nerves are quiet and steady and I'm cheerful and easy-to-get-along-with; there's no trace of the old aching agony in my arms, legs or muscles; I sleep like a log every night, have pep and energy to spare and the headaches never ‘seem to bother I'm the happiest woman in In apolis now, and I owe it all to Natex, the wonderful medicine I recommend to all.”
