‘Old Chicago’ In 4th Week

Apollo ‘to Continue Film of O'Leary Family.

Threatening the Seven Dwarfs’ local record, the Four O’Learys of “In Old Chicago” begin their fourth Indianapolis week and their second at the Apollo tomorrow.

Like the Disney full-length film, “In Old Chicago” spent its first fortnight here at the Indiana. The Dwarfs and Snow White likewise put in, two weeks at the Apollo, departed a week for parts unknown, and then returned. If anyone is left who hasn’t seen “In Old Chicago” (and surely there are, or the picture wouldn’t be staying) it has to do with the emigrant tribe of O’Learys who settled in the thriving village of Chicago.

Characters in Play

Chief persons in the drama are Dion, the son who becomes wealthy through somewhat shady practices; Jack, the stalwart and not so prosperous young attorney; Mrs. O'Leary,

| their courageous and hard-working

mother, and her cow, who, according to still persistent rumor, kicked a lantern into the straw and started the great fire. Then there is a third O'Leary son, played by Tom Brown, who grows up to become a solid citizen, though not a very dramatic one. Alice Faye plays the feminine lead
