Numerous additional parties have been announced for the opening of the Civic Theater's production, “Goodbye Again” tomorrow night. Mrs. Carl Bittrich will entertain with a dinner at her home in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Boggs, Mrs. Julia Wheeler, Mrs. Helen Wiegman and Miss Rose Wood. In Mrs. Charles R. Weiss’ party are to be her daughters, Misses Elizabeth and Heberton Weiss, and Miss Barbara Ball, Muncie. On Saturday night preceding the performance, Mr. and Mrs. E. I Larson will entertain informally at home. Their guests will be Mr. and Mrs. James W. Wiggs, Miss Mary Louise Keach, Miss Jane Keach, William Beck and Joseph Beck. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Neal are to be Mr. and Mrs. Fred Donaldson and Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Edwards, all of Lebanon. Following the performance the group will have a late supper at the Neal home. Attending together are to be Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schmidt.

Lattice Huckleberry Pie (5 to 6 servings) Two and one-half cups canned huckleberries (No. 2% can), 3 tablespoons lemon juice (1 lemon), 2% tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca, 3 cup sugar, % teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon butter. Combine all ingredients except butter and let stand while preparing the pastry. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry. Fill the unbaked pie shell with the berry mixture. Dot with butter. try. . Sift flour, salt, baking powder together. Cut in shortening. Add cold water gradually to make a stiff dough. Cut dough in two portions. Roll out the larger portion to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Roll out the smaller portion and cut 1, inch strips for a lattice top. Fruit Sponge Pig Two tablespoons butter, 1 cup sugar, 1-4 teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons flour, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 12 cup orange juice (1 orange), grated rind of 1 orange, 3-4 cup milk, 2 slices pineapple, shredded (1-2 cup). Cream butter. Add sugar, salt and flour sifted together. Separate the yolks and whites of eggs. Add egg yolks and beat well. Add lemon juice, orange juice and grated rind. Mix well. Stir in milk gradually. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the first mixture. Pour in a pastry-lined heat-resistant glass . pie plate. Scatter the shredded pineapple carefully over the top. Bake for 45 minutes in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) until crust is brown and

Banana Nut Pie (5 to 6 servings) One cup bananas, mashed (2 bananas), % cup light brown sugar,

14 teaspoon salt, 2 egg whites, % teaspoon lemon extract, % teaspoon almond extract, % cup pecan meats, broken. . Place all the ingredients, except the nutmeats, in a mixing bowl.

Beat with a rotary beater until quite stiff and fluffy. Pour into a nine-inch glass pie plate lined with unbaked ‘ pie pastry. Sprinkle the broken nutmeats over the top. Bake for 45 minutes in a moderate over (350 degrees F.) until firm and browned.
