Ten Youths Plead Guilty to

- Burglary,

Larceny Charges

Ten of 13 youths tried on charges of burglary and larceny before

Judge Pro Tem Clyde C. Karrer in

Criminal Court today pleaded guilty,

Charges against another youth were dismissed because he was under Federal Court sentence and another pleaded not guilty.

Francis Koonce, 21, charged witheo—

second degree burglary and. grand larceny in the robbery of a Lawrence, Ind., auto accessory store, had been sentenced to a Federal prison for violation of the Dyer Act. Charges against him .in Criminal Court were dropped.

Participated in Robbery Four others charged with participation in the robbery with Koonce pleaded guilty to charges of second degree burglary and grand larceny. Fred Roberts, 17, was sentenced to one to 10 years at the State Reform-

atory; James Martin Anderson, 20, sentenced to six months at the State Penal Farm; John Williams, 22, one to 10 years at the Reforma-

tory, placed on probation during |

good behavior, and Paul Williams, 19, brother of John, oné year at the State Farm, sentence suspended.

Four youths were accused in

another affidavit with burgglary of | :

the Cumberland Barbecue. Maurice Stephens, 18, pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to one year at the State Farm, but was placed on probation. Robert Patterson, 16, pleaded guilty to the same charge and was ordered to the Plainfield Boys’ School until he is 21. Records showed he had appeared in court on five previous occasions. Gets 1 to 5 Years

Paul McKinney, 23, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to one to five years at the State Reformatory. The case of Wesley Hoard, 22, was continued. Hoard also was accused with Eldon Suddeth 18, and Ralph Derrett, 18, of second degree burglar and grand larceny. Judgment was withheld in the case of Suddeth and he was placed on

probation. Derret now is serving a tearm at the State Farm. Walter Manges, 20, who pleaded guilty to petit larcény, was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He also faces trial on a Grand Jury indict-

slaughter in connection with a traf fic accident Oct. 28 in which two persons were killed. James Facconne, 20, accused with John Williams and Anderson, with having entered a drug store on E, Washington St., pleaded not guilty. Trial of all three on this charge was continued.
