U. S. Knows ; Where Fish'll Snap at Anglers
WASHINGTON, April 1 (U.P) — The Department of Agriculture announced today that it knows just the place to go fishing—a place where you can scoop them up with a basket. The Department insisted it isn’t *April Pooling” and added that the law does not limit the number that may be caught. The place is in and near the Nicolet, Hiawatha and Marquette national forests in northern Michigan and Wisconsin. “There,” the announcement said, “fish are so plentiful they can be scooped out of the water with baskets, dip nets, buckets or forks or even can be caught by hand along

freed from two days’ imprisonment today by Wilbur Werle. "Chasing a rabbit, the animal dug through the pipe, which was partly filled with silt, blocked the entrance with the diggings and was unable to turn around in the small enclosure to dig out. Mr. Werle was attracted by the dog’s howls.
