Wild Oats Ball Tonight Expected to Draw 900; Symphony Tea Planned
Many Parties Arranged for Affair at I. A. C.; - Mrs. Mallory to Be Hostess at Tea; Flower Arrangements Discussed.
Fun will have free rein tonight in tis improvised show ring provided at the Indianapolis Athletic Club
for the Wild Oats Ball. : For the fourth consecutive year the Indiana Saddle Horse Association is sponsoring the dance. Over 900 members of Indian‘apolis society are to attend. : Lights will play on the equestrians from oats-bedecked light fixtures while overhead will float gay blue and white pennants bearing r:plicas of horses’ heads. Louic Lowe's Orchestra and the Wabash Collegians will set the time for dancers in the third and fourth-floor ballrooms from improvised paddocks enclosed with rustic fences-and greenery. Despite the equestrian atmosphere, only one mount will attend the riders’ ball. Saucy Susie, clever pony owned by Jo Ann Rice, will be featured in a cabaret show. Jack Adams, ball chairman, and Mrs. Adams will attend with J. Perry Meek, an executive committee member, Mrs. Meek, Mrs. Irving D. Hamilton, Messrs. and Mesdames Wallace O. Lee, Charles F. Gregg, N. E. Boyer, Roy Badollet, Ben Cohee, Paul Stewart, Edward P. Gallagher, George H. Denny and F. W. Fitzpatrick.

Et Cetera Club to Elect
Changes in the Et Cetera Club's constitution will be voted at a meeting at 11 a. m. Monday at the Colonial Tearoom. A luncheon is to follow at 12:30 p. m. Officers are to be elected. Mrs. E. W. Cowley and Mrs. Luther Sackett are hostesses.

Virginia Jenckes Talks on ‘Women In Public Service’
Mrs. Virginia Jenckes, U. S. Representative from the Indiana Sixth District, is to be guest speaker at the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women’s Club meeting at 8 p. m. Thursday at the clubhouse, 1101 .N. Delaware St. Mrs. Jenckes is to discuss. “Women Do Make Good in High Places in Public Service.” Miss Rose Boggs, Richmond, Ind., will talk on “Professional Women’s Problems” at the 7 p. m. forum hour following dinner.
