DOCTORS REFUSE FEE FROM PARALYZED GIRL
KANSAS CITY, March 21 (U.P). Mrs. Carlos Davis, wife of a sheetmetal worker and mother of the 20-year-old paralytic, Sylva, revealed today where the money came from that permitted her daughter to undergo an expensive and dangerous operation that may permit her to use her arms and legs for the first time. The operation was made possible by Dr. Frank Dixon and Dr. Rex Dively, « orthopedic surgeons, who have interested themselves in Miss Davis’ case since 1933 without charge. They obtained the professional services of Dr. Frank R. Teachenor, one of Kansas City’s leading surgeons, charge. Since 1933, - the $250,000 Linda S. Hall trust fund has provided $35 a day for hospital expenses.

be hanged tonight in the second triple exccution in the state’s history.
The condemned are Arnett Booth, 24, and John Travis and Orvill Adkins, 25. Dr. Seder, 70, a retired minister, of Huntington, W. Va. was kidnaped from his home last Nov. 1. His abductors demanded $50,000 ransom, which never was paid. On Nov. 11, Dr. Seder was found in an abandoned coal pit in a weakened condition from cruel treatment and exposure. He died in a
Huntington hospital.
