PRESSURE LOWERS PIT WHEAT PRICES
Early Corn Advances Wiped Out by Grain Weakness.
CHICAGO, March-3. (U. P)— Wheat prices worked lower under commission: house pressure - today on the Chicago Board of Trade. At the end of the first hour wheat was 1 to 7% cent lower, corn was unchanged to 1 cent higher and oats were unchanged to % cent lower.

liquidation with new crop months showing most of the losses. A Wr. vate estimate on the winter wheat crop by Nat C. Murray and H. C. Donovan of Chicago showed a drop of 26,000,000 bushels in the probable 1938 winter yield over the actual 1937 harvest. However, this estimate, 65¢,000,000 bushels on the average, was 30,000,000 bushels greater than the Dec. 1 Government estimate. Wheat receipts were 36 cars. Corn prices weakened under the increased softness of wheat and early advances were wholly ‘eliminated. 'Cern receipts were 175 cars.
