The number of tubarculiosiz deaths and cases have been steadily increasing for the last three vears in indianapolis, Dr. Herman G. Morgan, City Health Board Secretary, said today in urging a more active campaign against the disease. “Tuberculosis prevention and control continue to be one of the major health problems, although Yemarkable progress has been made for the prevention, treatment and management of tuberculosis,” he sald. “Tt continues to rank sixth as the principal cause of death in the age group of 15 to 2 years.” A total of 221 deaths from tuberculosis were reporit2d in TndianRpolis last year.
