Bestor, McCoy to Face In Historic Match on Circle Stage ~
First blood in the “Battle of Swing” will be drawn tomorrow on the Circle stage, as Clyde McCoy and Don Bestor square off for a decisive tonal engagement. This is the second attraction in accordance with the Circle's new policy of occasional stage attractions. It's the first time that Indianapolis patrons have been promised a double-barreled dose of the dance world’s current sauce piquant. Mr. Bestor was pronounced ready for the engagement today, even if he hasn't always moved in swingster circles. Though for many years he was a purveyor of the smoother sort of dance melodies, he’s a competent veteran of many vaudeville, night club and radio engagements, and can be trusted to acquit himself nobly in the crisis.
