The First Reformed and Evangelfeal Church is to give a musical program at 10:45 p. m. tomorrow night, with Clarence Elbert, musie, in charge. - A candlelight service is to be conducted at 11 p. m. tomorrow ight at *Broadway M. E. Church. At the * ‘glose of the service members of the congregation. are to carry lighted candles from- the church while a *. brass choir plays Christmas carols. « Woodruff Place Baptist Church Sunday School is to give a pageant, “The Greatest Gift,” at 7:30 p. m. $onight in thé church auditorium. Dr. John E. Potzger of the Butler University Botany Department will conduct a field trip and read two papers before the Ecological Society of America Friday, Dec. 31. He will take the society to Bacon's Swamp, a few blocks south of ‘59th ' St. on Keystone Ave, and to Treviac, Brown County. They will study pollen and forest vegetation.
The Ecological society is meeting in Indianapolis in connection with-the convention of the American Association for the Advance ment of Science here next week.
dianapolis Life Insurance Co. are to celebrate with a turkey dinner tomorrow noon at the Marott Hotel. Guests will include Irving Lemaux, A. G. Ruddell and O. J. Smith, directors: of the-firm, and city agents.

FARMERS CATCH 3 ROBBERY SUSPECTS
LAWRENCEBURG, Dec. 23 (U. P.).—Captured by a posse of farmers, three men suspected of committing seven robberies in this area during the last 10 days were held here today. They gave the names: of Robert Thompson, 28, Southgate, Ky. Donald West, 25, Newport, Ky., and Carl Eisen,. 29, Cincinnati. A posse of 10 farmers set chase after a motorist was robbed of $13. Sheriff ‘Pat Henke deputized the possemen by telephone and they made the capture after the suspects had skidded off the road while attempting to round a curve.
