Nine bewigged and berobed “Supreme Court Justices” swung into the Big Apple Saturday evening as a feature of the installation of new officers and directors of the American Business Club. The occasion was the organization’s annual Christmas supper dance in
the Indianapolis Athletic Club.
As John K. Ruckelshaus announced the “Justices,” they made their way in turn to the bench doing the Charleston swing, shag or whatever seized the fancy of their august personages at the moment. Dr. Dudley A. Pfaff, one of the new directors, impersonated Chief Justice Hughes and George McBride Hoster, new president, repre-
sented Hugo Black, newest Justice.

off by red ostrich in her dark hair.

Kirby and Mrs. Hiram Davy Keehn wore black with touches of gold. Mrs. Raymond F. Mead was lovely in soft blue crepe with pink carnations in her hair and Mrs. Gerald E. Woods wore turqoise crepe with crystal beading. Mrs. John P. Collett’s full-skirted gown was fashioned of blue and.silver lame. Mrs. " Russell P. Women Voters Publish Manual Of Labor Study
Mrs. Dan Datisman, Gary, has distributed the “Collective Bargaining Kit” for study by the local League of Women Voters. The kit was prepared by Mrs. Jeannette Cheek, government and economic welfare department chairman, The kit is described as a factual
‘manual on labor and management,
written from an unbiased point of view. It contains a collection of articles by city mayors and managers on the problem of local government in recent strikes, and a Yiscussion on trade unions and aw. Mrs. Datisman has stated that to gain full benefit from the kit, its reading should be accompanied by careful perusal of current newspaper and magazine articles, and that study is important because results are to be discussed at the national convention in St. Louis next spring. A study outline and a dictionary of labor terms accompany the Kit.
