Jailed Hero Cannot Remember Saving Companion Two Times

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Dec. 3 (U. P.).—Selmer Tedder, 20, a hero who saved a man’s life not once but twice, lolled in the County Jail today hiccoughing slightly, said he didn't know a thing about it. Tedder had not yet regained his composure, lost when a rescue expedition of two deputy sheriffs, a prison guard and two trusties rode up on horseback, congratulated nim on his bravery and took him and his companions to jail on charges of public drunkenness.
