All Agencies Must Join War on Crime, Clegg Says.
There can be no letdown in the war on crime, Indiana prosecutors had been warned today by Hugh Clegg, assistant to J. Edgar Hoover in the Federal Bureau of Investie gation, All law enforcement agencies, from the Federal bureaus to the minor local officials, must co-oper= ate in the drive against criminals, | Mr. Clegg said. | He spoke in the Claypool Hotel yesterday at the closing session of a two-day conference of Indiana prosecutors, called by Attorney General Omer Stokes Jackson. Outlines FBI Resources | Mr. Clegg outlined the resources {of the FBI available to states and local enforcement agencies. He said the fingerprint and identification divisions are prepared to assist prosecuting attorneys in convicting persons under habitual criminal laws. Preceding the luncheon at which Mr. Clegg spoke, the prosecutors held a forum on crime. Safety and the relicensing of motorists whose drivers’ licenses have been revoked for drunken driving were discussed, Governor Townsend urged strict enforcement of safety laws, stress- | ing those covering motor vehicle op- | eration.

LLAS VEGAS, Nev., Dec. 3 (U. P.). —District Judge William Orr today had granted a divorce decree to Mrs, Evangeline Stokowski from Leopold Stokowski, famous Phila= delphia Symphony Orchestra director, on her charge of mental cruelty.
