of teamwork” to stamp out venereal Dr. Morris Fishbemn, editor or the Journal of the American Medical Association, in an address delivered over the National Broadcasting Sys-

tem. The time has come, he said, to¢ prove to the world that under the American system of living such dis-' eases may be treated in the same, way as typhoid and diphtheria. | “Considerable numbers of American cities have reported an entire, vear without a single death from typhoid or diphtheria,” he said. “We now possess the knowledge necessary to secure results that will permit a similar claim in relationship to the venereal diseases.” Dr. Fishbeln was introduced by | Gen. Hugh S. Johnson who last week was refused permission by N. B. C. officials to broadcast on the same subject. Dr, Fishbein's adoress was the “frankest” discussion of social diseases ever allowed on the air, they said. “It is our feeling,” L.enox R. Lohr. N. B. C. president said, “that only persons who are authorities on the subject are qualified to present the | material in terms which the general listener can accept.” : In introducing Dr. Fishbein, Gen. | Johnson said he had intended to speak on the subject until informed it would be delivered by an authority. | “I have been a soldier too long not to realize the importance of following orders,” he said. Dr. Fishbein commended Surgeon General Thomas Parran of the U. S. Public Health Service for “bringing the control of these diseases more prominently to the public mind.” |

| Tt takes more than “just a salve” to draw them out. It takes a “counter. irritant” like good old Musterole —soothing, warming, penetratin and helpful in drawing out the loca congestion and pain when rubbed on the aching spots. Muscular lumbago, soreness and stiffness generally yield romptly. Better than the old-fashioned mustard plaster, Musterole has been used by millions for 80 years. Recommended by many doctors and nurses. All druggists’. In three strengths: Regular Strength, Children's (mild), and Extra Strong.

IMPORTANT! The price per gallon of an anti-freeze means nothing unless you know how many gallons you will need during the entire winter. You can’t get that information on a boil-away anti-freeze. But you can get it for “ Prestone ” anti-freeze «.and here it is. Sec how reasonably you can get two-way protection all winter long against both freeze-up and rust with one shot of Prestone’’ anti-freeze —one shot because it won't boil off, no matter how warm the weather gets between the cold snaps. If your car isn’t on this chart, your deaier has a chart showing all ears; and amounts needed for temperatures to 60° below zero.
