Three La Porte County farm boys Will compete in The International Junior Livestock contest Nov, 28, the day before the exposition formally opens. The La Porte team won an all-state contest held last summer at the Indiana State Fair. Members of the team are Lawrence Clark, Rolling Prairie: Robert Schmidt and Vance Craft, La Porte; and Gordon Craft, Kingsburg, who will act as an alternate. E. L. Hartman, assistant county agent, La Porte, is the coach.

Evidence Lacking Avainst Him, Spencer Says.

Hugh Marshall Sr. was freed today from the Marion County Jail where he has spent the last seven months. For lack of evidence, Prosecutor Herbert E. Spencer nolle prossed an indictment charging him with being an accessory in the murder of William Bright, Indianapolis druggist. The action came on the eve of his trial, which was to begin tomorrow. The elder Marshall ‘was jailed April 5. His son, Hugh Marshall Jr., and Vurtis Neal, were convicted of the murder and are awaiting action on an appeal. They are under sentence to die in the electric chair, Marshall did not appear affected by his long time in jail. Asked what | his plans were, he said:
