Alabama’s Crimson Tide, rolling along in hopes of reaching the Rose Bowl, is due for a big jolt at the hands of Georgia Tech, which will either defeat or tie the unbeaten Crimson Tide. Auburn and L. S. U. meet in another battle | of giants, with L. S. U. the likely winner, although a tie is | possible. Tennesseee is my choice to reverse their mathematical rating by defeating or tying Vanderbilt, and Duke has an edge | over North Carolina although a tie is possible. | In the East, Notre Dame's traditional game With Army has the center of interest, although neither team is among the nation’s leaders, and my choice goes to the Fighting Irish, with a possible tie. Pittsburgh should end the undefeated record of Nebraska without difficulty. Other Eastern choices include Dartmouth over Cornell, Yale over Princeton, and Syra- | cuse over Columbia. The Big Ten’s major attraction is Minnesota vs. Northwestern, and | while a tie is possible I believe the Gophers will win.
