JUVENILE COURT IN HOME URGED

Move Detention Facilities to City’s Outskirts, County Aid Says.

Edward Brennan, deputy prosecutor, who was for nearly two years assigned to Juvenile Court, today advocated removal of Juvenile Court and the Detention Home to the outskirts of the city, “away from the unpleasant surroundings and the morbidly curious courtroom spectators.” Mr. Brennan said Juvenile Court

should be held in the Detention Home. “The present courtroom is far from a fit place to hold an informal court for young children,” he said. “Likewise it would seem reasonable that the most unhealthy location for a Detention Home is downtown where bad air is the worst,” he pointed out. Mr. Brennan said he was opposed, for that reason, to moving the Detention Home children to the proposed new home at 538 W. New York St.

Used by millions for 30 years. Recommended by many doctors and nurses. All druggists’. In three strengths: Regular Strength, Children’s (mild), and Extra Strong. Approved by Good Housekeeping.
