Second Lecture Recital Scheduled for

The second of a series of Thursday morning lecture recitals at the Bomar Cramer Studios, 1431 N. Meridian St., will be given tomorrow at 10:30 a. m. Mr. Cramer will discuss “Brahms -—a Fulfillment and Prophecy,” and

will offer a program of the composer’s works assisted by Miss Sara Miller. To open the musical portion of the lecture-recital, Mr. Cramer is to play the Intermezzi, Opus 76 No. 6 and Opus 119 No. 1; the Capriccio, Opus 116 No. 1, and three movements of the Piano Sonata in F Sharp Minor, Opus 2. Miss Miller will assist in the performance of the first set of “Liebeslieder” Waltzes for two pianos, after which she will close the program with the “Variations on a Theme of Handel.” Due to the length of the program, Mr. Cramer has asked that the audience be in its seats not later than 10:25 o'clock. Starlet Bitten; Movie Delayed

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 10 (U, P.).— Ann Sheridan, young movie starlet from Texas, stepped on a police dog's tail and her scenes in a movie were being held up today.

‘The dog snapped at her, slashing a cut over one of her eyes. She was romping with the pet at a friend's home. Five stitches were taken to close the gash. Dr. Charles M. Taylor ordered her to bed for several days. She was working in the picture, “The Mystery of Hunting's End,” at Warner Brothers.
