Unfair City Taxes and High Interest Rates Are Attack Targets. -_— re | PITTSBURGH, Oct. 21 (U. P).— With the removal of three barriers, the new-home building industry could be revived and unemployment problems settled. President Paul E Stark, National Association of Real Estate Boards. today told the association’s 30th annual meeting. ASKS MISS EARHART BE DECLARED DEAD
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (U.P) — A petition to have Amelia Earhart declared legally dead was on file in probate court today. The famed woman flier’s husband, George Palmer Putnam, asked for appointment as trustee of Miss Earhart's estate, which was listed as $25,000 worth of personal effects and real estate of unestimated value. Lost with Miss Earhart was Fred Noonan, navigator of her world flight. Their “flying laboratory” apparently fell into the Pacific last July
