Church Federation Seeks To Continue Preaching Mission.
The Evangelistic Committee of the Church Federation of Indianapolis has been organized again to assist all Protestant churches of the city in conducting evangelistic campaigns this fall and winter. The cominittee at its first meeting in the Roberts Park Church recently arranged a series of three inspirational meetings, known as an evangelistic mission, for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the First Baptist Church. Officers and teachers with longtime service records in the Disciples of Christ church schools in Marion County are to be honored at a recognition meeting at 7:30 p. m. Monday in the Hillside Church.

The regional Farm Security Administration office here today announced the Indiana region is to receive $1,368,418 to loan farm tenants for purchase of family-size farms this year under the Bank-head-Jones Farm Tenant Act. States affected are Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Towa and Missouri. Applications for tenant loans are to be made to County rural rehabilitation supervisors. Voluntary farmers’ county committees are to examine applications, inspect farms and make recommendations.

The Indianapolis Bar Association today considered sponsoring of a Le gal Institute, a series of three lece tures on some legal subject of gene eral interest to lawyers by a rece ognized authority in the field. As tentatively outlined, the plan calls for the first lecture in November or December. Lectures would be given on successive weekdays and an admission fee to cover exe penses would be charged.
