Seven New Detours Posted As Like Number Are Taken Off List.
Favorable weather conditions spurred construction and improvement work on Indiana highways this week, the State Highway Commission reported today. Seven detours were lifted and a like number | established. Extensive detours, ‘from 17 to 27 miles in length, have been removed from Indiana 2, from Valparaiso to
Roads 1 and 50 to Aurora; Indiana 56 from Dover to Southgate, and Indiana 121 from Indiana 52 to Con-
nersville.
Detours_are marked over city streets as Indiana T in Goshen; . 6 in| Highland and Hammond, and in Schererville. Detours for closed roads are marked as follows: Indiana 1—From Wayne-Randolph county line north about 4. miles over gravel.
