TWO-YEAR-OLD WEDDING STUNT ENDS IN GOURT
Spouse Visited Her Only An Hour, ‘Walkathon Bride’ Testifies.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 24 (U. P.).—A marriage performed to boost attendance at an Irvington, N. J., “walkathon” endurance contest two years ago was annulled here today by Circuit Judge Leonard D. Verdier. Clara Leone Sadler Guilfoyle, 22, was granted an annulment of her marriage to Johnny Guilfoyle, Philadelphia, Pa., when she testified that the ceremony had been planned as a publicity stunt to increase the attendance at the “walkathon.” She had known Guilfoyle only a few ays when she married him, the “walkathon” bride testified. He drop out of the contest after a week,| while she remained a {full mont. Both the bride and groom returned to their homes after they left the contest. Guilfoyle visited her on only one occasion, remaining about an hour, the bride testified.

Tomorrow is the 19th anniversary of the Meuse-Argonne campaign's beginning. The home cost more than $10,000, Mr. Livengood said. The parade is to form at 3 p. m. at S. Ritter Ave. and E. Washington St. The line of march is to be east on Washington to Bolton Ave.; north on Bolton Ave. to St. Joseph St. and west on St. Joseph to Graham.
COAL BOARD IS CALLED
Times Special WASHINGTON, Sept 24.—Indiana’s District Coal Producers’ Board is among those summoned to appear before the National Bituminous Coal Commission here next Monday for final hearings on minimum prices and coal classifications. All boards east of the Mississippi River, except the Alabama District, have been ordered to attend.
