Salathjel - Mullen, Veteran Big Four Worker, to Be Buried Tomorrow.

Salathiel Mullen, retired railroad engineer and an Indianapolis resident for more than 50 years, who died yesterday in his home at 3334 Park Ave., is to be buried in Crown Hill following funeral services at 2 p- m. tomorrow in the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary. He was 76. . Mr. Mullen, born in Xenia, O,, had been employed by the Big Four Railroad 52 years. Survivors are his wife, Harriet A., son, George E. Phoenix, Ariz; daughter, Mrs. Gordon Stewart, Indianapolis; brother, Edward, Mt. Carmel, Ill, and two grandchildren.

JULIUS LANE WHEELER, Indianapolis resident for 42 years who died yesterday in his home at 1106 Oliver Ave., is to be buried in Oak Hill, Lebanon, following funeral services at 10 a. m. Wednesday in his home. He was 69. Mr. Wheeler, an engineer for 37 years for the Indiana Terminal & Refrigerating Co., was born in Westfield. He was a Red Men's Lodge and Knights of Pythias member. BROTHER FRANCES LEMKES, a Franciscan Order lay brother and a chef at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church parish house many years, who died Friday in St. Francis Hospital, is to be buried in St. Joseph’s cemetery following solemn requiem at 9 a. m. tomorrow in the Sacred Heart Convent. He was 75. Brother Francis, born in Alton, Ill, entered the . order at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Teutopolis, Ill. He was stationed at Indianapolis 21 years. The Rev. Emil Lemkes, St. Louis, a brother and the only survivor, is to conduct the services.

JOHN EDWARD BAILEY, 1841 E. Minnesota St., who died Saturday in St.. Vincent’s Hospital, is to be buried tomorrow morning from the Blackwell Funeral Home with services in St.. Catherine's Catholic Church. Burial is to be in Holy Cross Cemetery. He was 58. Survivors are two sons, Harry and Ernest Bailey; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Ford, of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Thomas of Richmond and Mrs. Martha Davis, of Muncie.
