WIRE today announced signing of a contract which makes the station a part of the Mutual Broadcasting System, As a result of the contract, all four major chains are represented in Indianapolis—CBS by WFBM, the NBC-Red and Blue and the MBS by WIRE. The new contract i brings WIRE at least two new com-= mercial programs and a wider choice of sustaining shows Since the Mutual chain was organized by WGN and WOR, it has been distinguished by some for presenting the best in dance music and for superior special events coverage.
