Tough Sailor Tossed Savon Survivors of Wreck in Sea in Order to Save Lives of Others in Overcrowded Boat.

Liner to Get Movie First
Premiere Scheduled While Normandie Is at Sea.
By United Press HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 23.—The first movie premiere on the high seas today was scheduled for the liner Normandie. The film “Prisoner of Zenda” will be shown aboard the ship en route to Europe from New York Sept. 1, it was announced. The opportunity was aflorded because Douglas Fairbanks "just happened” to take a print of the film along on a voyage to Europe with Mrs. Fairbanks, the former Sylvia Ashley, according to a studio announcement. Douglas Fairbanks Jr. has a part in the picture. Ronald Colman is the star. First land showing of the film will be in New York one day later.

HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 23. Fred Astaire and Ida Lupino dancing together in “Fight for Your Lady” is the treat in store for cinema audiences, only it won't be the real Mr. Astaire—just a double dummy.
Miss Lupino worked out a clever pantomime dance number and showed it to Producer Albert Lewis, who planned on her doing a cafe dance and song sequence,
He immediately approved of the number and sought permission of Mr. Astaire to use the dummy dressed in top hat and tails with a wax face, the reproduction of the Iamed dancer s Profile.
