To pay taxes at the corner drug | store or neighborhood groceiy, Mr. | McKinney explained that taxpayers | may call at the Treasurer's office | or write a letter asking for their tax bill. Taxpayers are asked to inclose their last tax receipt and, 8 thev call at the treasurer's office, to bring their receipt with them. Upon receipt of the bill, the tax= er may go to one of the 57 places handling money orders and mail them to the Treasurer's office. Re- | ceipts will be mailed back to tax- | payers if self-addressed stamped | envelopes are enclosed. The Treasurer's office started receiving fall installments this week.
