reported to total 350,000 bushels and was consigned to a buyer in ‘| England, according to Kansas City dealers. The wheat was shipped from a gulf port. It was also reported that another cargo of approximately the same amount was being prepared for shipment to a British buyer. Dealers in Kansas City said that the United States has about the only available wheat supply at this time. Depleted stores in foreign countries and the world's lowest prices were considered important factors in re-establishing the export business. Canada will likely be a large exporter this year, it is said, because of the reduced crop prospects. For the past three years there has been virtually no export trade in wheat, it was said. No. 2 hard wheat brings about $1.27 a bushel from the vessel in Europe, dealers said.
