Dealers Help
Form Policies For Chevrolet
Taking another step forward in its quality dealer program, the Chevrolet Motor Co. has inaugurated a plan whereby all Chevrolet dealers have a direct voice in determining merchandising policies and other matters pertaining to their relationship with the company, according to N. A. Stuart, Indianapolics zone manager. Introduced in January of this year, the plan provides for two dealer committees in each zone and region and at headquarters. To inaugurate the plan, each of the 47 Chevrolet zone managers appointed 10 dealers in his territory to serve for a period of six months on one committee and 10 others to serve similarly on the other. Care was exercised to give proportionate representation to dealers of all classes.

CITES DANGERS OF FAULTY HEADLIGHTS
Dodge Exeuulive Warns Vacation Motorists.
A timely safety note, addressed especially to vacation bound motorists, comes from W. R. Bamford, service director of the Dodge Division of Chrysler Corp. Mr. Bamford’s concern is with the dangers lurking in automobile headlights which because of faulty use or maintenance neglect are not functioning with original efficiency. In support of his contention that faulty lights are the underlying cause of many accidents, Mr. Bamford cites the fact that though only one-third of all automobiles travel after dark, nearly two-thirds of the serious mishaps occur during the night hours.
